Clogs (Bakiak)

Wood, old tyres and one very loud race.

A slab of light wood and a strap cut from a used tyre: bakiak are cheap, waterproof and nearly indestructible. Every August they come out for the Independence Day race, three people on one long pair, falling over together. This pair is for one person. Falling over is optional.
