Indonesian School Bus
The one that started it all.
In 2009 I opened 3ds Max for the first time. Julius Perdana showed me the basics in a single afternoon; a week later this yellow Jakarta school bus was finished, my first 3D model ever. A few months on, it ended up in a video for the MTV Indonesia Awards. Not bad for a beginner's homework.

What you'll print
Print at 100% (turn off “fit to page”) on 160–200 gsm paper or thin card. The first sheet has the legend and notes.
How to build
From flat to finished
- 01Print every sheet at actual size on 160–200 gsm paper.
- 02Score the fold lines with an empty ballpoint and a ruler before you cut.
- 03Cut along the solid lines. Where the legend shows a star, cut a hole.
- 04Fold, then glue part by part in number order, holding each tab until it grips.
- 05Let it dry before you play with it.
